The Launch/Pre-Series Supply Chain Coordinator is the internal lead for introducing and managing pre-series components with production intent into the Manufacturing plant.
Manage pre-series component inventory to ensure availability
Successfully transition program launch to appropriate logistics planners upon completion of ramp up period
Daily and weekly report out of pre-series part status and availability to Plant Management and Program Management
Facilitate Logistics support for all Project Teams
Collaboration with and support of Advanced Logistics Planner with pre-series part setups and Logistics concepts
Communicate Logistics requirement to supply base; monitor and enforce compliance
Continuous improvement of logistics processes
Pre-Series Material Inventory
Support Purchasing in system handling, ordering and tracking of pre-series parts
Instruct and support S&R to process new parts into building
Arrange for proper material movements and storage in collaboration with Pilot Hall and ME.
Facilitate material removal for testing, sampling, rework or others, from manufacturing building in accordance to established processes
Attend and report out in project team meeting and Pilot Hall meeting
Control inventory and report out potential material shortages to Program Management and Plant Management
Advanced Logistics Planning
Support packaging trials and engage in container tracking and logistics process improvement prior to launch
