We are currently searching for an experienced Purchasing Manager - Capital Equipment & Tooling (CET) to develop and lead the purchase of CET across our Organization. As a valuable part of the Purchasing and Logistics Team, the Purchasing Manager - Capital Equipment & Tooling will be responsible for working closely with our various technical groups to combine the technical and commercial aspects of procurements focused on check fixtures, stamping dies, roll form tooling integrated equipment lines, robots, ovens, etc.
This is a Corporate position located in Oakland County, M. The ideal candidate is a high performer with a proven track record of accomplished cost reductions and continuous improvements related to CET purchases. A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience purchasing for the Automotive industry within these commodities is required. A strong history of accomplished cost reductions, meeting targets with roadmaps, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and ability to develop a solid business case and manage change effectively through skillful leadership abilities is critical. Candidate must be willing to travel globally as required.
