In cooperation with HQ QD; plans, schedules, initiates and follows-up quality engineering methods, procedures, and systems to improve and maintain product quality.
Implement, promote and assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including ongoing improvements.
Perform complex analytical measurements and experiments to resolve product and process issues.
Monitor and drive closure of APQP, FEMA’s, PPAP submissions, Run @ Rate, 8D’s for internal and external concerns, Non-conformance, and scrap reports.
Lead fast response meetings and coordinate closure of Non-conformance reports.
Analyses customer scorecards, make recommendations, and lead action plans with management for improvement
Performs Quality Assessments & Audits to ensure compliance to internal and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. ISO, TS, IATF, BIQS, etc.).
Process warranty claims, lead investigation, corrective actions and recovery of funds involving discrepancies within the warranty system.
Organize routine data collection, analysis and improvement of critical plant quality KPI’s.
Preparation of monthly management reports.
Directs activities of Quality Engineer and Inspector(s).
Lead communication with management and customer SQE.
Train and promote employees on quality standards and requirements.
All other duties assigned.
Major/ Degree of Education: Bachelor degree, major of engineering automotive related is preferred
Professional Experience: 5 years’ experience in relevant work history, preferably automotive industry, preferably with GM
Familiar with TS16949 and IATF 16949.
Widely involve in quality-related activities such as Audit, SPC, PFMEA, 8D, Control Plan, Process Flow.
Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Seasoned organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to teach and coach
Ability to work with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
